My Sunday Rest for a Less Chaotic Monday

I’ve found that how I begin the week doesn’t start Monday morning—it begins Sunday afternoon.

Not in a hustle, but in a rhythm.
A quiet preparation that gives Monday just a little more space to breathe.

Here’s what my Sunday reset often looks like:

• Finishing the ironing for the coming week’s clothing
• Tucking non-perishables into my lunch bag so the morning feels smooth
• Gathering any materials or ideas I’ll need to support the children
• And most importantly—enjoying a quiet cup of tea

These aren’t rigid to-dos. They’re rituals.
Gentle ways to bring clarity to the week ahead without rushing or overloading.

This is part of how I work with families, too—helping build predictable rhythms that support everyone’s nervous systems, not just the logistics. It’s not about having everything “done”—it’s about feeling ready enough.

A little intention on Sunday can ripple out into a calmer, more connected week.
Sometimes, that’s exactly what we need.
